Sailing vessels are moving because of the weather conditions

According to meteorologists, weather conditions will worsen, rain is expected as strong winds in the second half of the day. Winds are forecast to gusts to 15-20 m/s or so. This is expected to continue until tomorrow evening.

For the biggest vessels these weather conditions are not dangerous and they remain in their tie-up locations. However, weather conditions might cause some inconveniences for the samaller vessels berthed in the Dane river. Therefore they are given the opportunity to berth at the inner side of cruise ship terminal.

Berthing, by provisional data (13:00), will affect the location of these vessels: Jolie Brise, Smialy, St Iv, Camelot, Lietuva, Henrika, Fujimo, Theia, Akela, Elena, Variag, Bylina, Helena, Lady B, 4 Oceans Dream.

It is convenient to follow the berthing process from both sides of the river Dane embankment, the berthing will be finished in the evening. On Sunday the weather conditions will improve and citizens and visitors of Klaipėda will be able to comfortably view the „sails parade“.
